About AskMyFinance

Our mission
AskMyFinance exists to make financial product decisions less confusing. Credit cards, personal loans, and savings accounts all come with jargon, asterisks, and fine print that most comparison sites gloss over. We use AI to cut through the noise and match you with products that fit your actual situation — your credit score, your goals, your budget.
We believe the best financial product for you is not the one with the biggest sign-up bonus — it is the one that fits how you actually spend and what you actually need.
Editorial standards
Every product in our catalog is researched from primary sources: issuer websites, regulatory filings, and publicly disclosed rates. We do not accept payment to alter our recommendations or rankings. Products with affiliate relationships are labeled. Products without affiliate relationships (including some that offer strong value to consumers) are still included in our database and recommended when they are the best fit.
Our AI assistant uses the same product database as our editorial team. It does not fabricate rates or features — it searches our verified product data and presents it clearly.
How we make money
AskMyFinance earns affiliate commissions when you apply for a financial product through a link on this site and are approved. This does not cost you anything — issuers pay us a referral fee from their marketing budget.
We disclose affiliate relationships on every page (see the banner at the top of this site) and in the footer of every article. Our editorial recommendations are not influenced by commission rates.
Not financial advice
The content on AskMyFinance is for informational purposes only. We are not licensed financial advisors. The information we provide does not constitute personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Please consult a licensed professional before making significant financial decisions.
